Design
Free themes available? - Yes, they have over 90 available, very minimal, chic & stylish designs
Paid themes? - No paid themes available, it’s an all in one solution
Easy to design? - Yes, you set your colour scheme, fonts etc so these always apply, makes it easier to stay brand on point, design features are very different to Wix, you just have to get used to it
Drag & drop option? - Can’t drag & drop but easy selection tools
Customisation options - You mostly choose from templates, customisation is a bit harder
Editing options - You can even edit your imagery
Free images available? - Yes lots of great ones that can be used as fillers
Coding needed? - You can do this, but it’s not needed unless you want something specific
Ads shown? - Nope

Navigation (in your edit section)
Easy to find your way around? - Yes, but have a proper play around, & see what’s available
Easy to see client messages? - Not sure on this, bcus I use Memberspace as a membership plugin I get all mine through that
Easy to see customer/client profiles? - Yes, depending on what you use this website for
Easy to update/software updates? - All done for you

Payment
Free trial available? - Yes, 14 day free trial
Free plan? - No free plan
Basic plan price per month? - Personal plan is $12 but you cant do much with it, so i’d choose the Business plan at $18
Business e-commerce plan? - $26 this is what I use for mine, basically the higher up you go different features get unlocked, you can upgrade as you design though so id start with a biz plan & then see
Hidden costs? - If you pay annually it is soooooo much cheaper; a yearly Business plan you save 53%
Transaction fees for you (when a client/customer purchases) - There are no transaction fees with Squarespace but if you get paid via credit card they have a fee of 2.9% + $0.30 (fixed fee) just like the other platforms

Payment options for customers/clients? - All major credit cards, Stripe, Paypal, Afterpay, Apple Pay

Custom domain options? - Yes, easily linked in your admin section
Ease of domain link set up - very easy, you add in your domain & then click connect, you then have to go to your domain name provider & link to Squarespace (allow access)

Functionalities
Blog? - Yes this can be added to any style website you design
Shop? Yes, I have one of these on my website, SEE
Membership? - Squaresapce now has its own membership section, I however went with Memberspace

24/7 Support
Email - Yes HERE
Phone - No
Live chat - Yes you are given this option on the help page once you have selected options

Features
Social media? - Yes easily added
Contact form? - Yes
Video? - Connect to either YouTube or Vimeo (10 min vid max) I have both of these
Email sign up? - There is an option for this but its best to keep it on one platform, I use Flodesk
Email pop up? - Nope, again I use Flodesk for this
Additional apps/plugins? - There are lots of options for these, or you can choose an outside one & integrate it with your Squaresapce website like I have done with Memberspace
Easy to add a page? - Yes very easy, click pages, then the + sign & add either a Blank page or Page Layouts, which is think is soooo much easier
Easy to add a dropdown menu? - yes very easy, just drag & drop underneath
Live chat option? - I love the independent provider LiveChat you can even get updates to your phone when someone messages & you see where they are located (which is hugely beneficial to knowing your Dream Audience)
Forum? - No option for a forum, but you could add a Q&A section or an app/plugin for this
