PHASE 8.1

Organisation
Everyone does things differently. Just bcus someone says they use a physical planner, & you think it’s a cute idea doesn’t mean it’s the RIGHT one for you. This actually happened to me at one point lol, I wanted to be the girl who got her physical planner out her bag haha, I love notebooks but i’ve realised only for brainstorming - i’m defo a Google calendar gal, colour coded, & super organised lol ;)
Find a way to be organised that suits YOU. Start with one & if it doesn’t work, try something else. There are no rules or one way of doing things.
Pick something, & START NOW !
Google Calendar
If you haven't got Google Calendar, I HIGHLY recommend it.
This will start the process of scheduling your time.
This is something that previous Soul Shine clients of mine struggled with; having structure in their days so they accomplish things.
Yes it comes in super handy for when you have & are creating your business but also beforehand too.
This is great for you also by seeing what time you have left in your life to start trying those things you've got on your list, for example if on your list is a hands on photography course, you need to find the time to do this, & also the money, you may also want to travel to Mexico to practise your photography skills you learnt at that course, this all needs to be scheduled in when the time is right.
Pro’s of using Google Calendar -
☼ You can add a to-do list (tasks)
☼ Can add something for the same day every week/month/year - this is very time saving & prevents you from forgetting
☼ Colour code segments - so you know what means what
☼ Quickest way
☼ Helps you create a routine & structure
☼ Can be used on desktop & mobile
☼ You can tick off once you’ve completed something (you betcha I add something i’ve already done just so I can tick it off hahaha)
Below is a training I did on exactly this for the girls inside our Aligned & tHRIVING sisterhood.
Physical Planner
Like I said at the very beginning, I wanted to be the girl who carried around her planner in the handbag lol, but I realised i’m not.
Some of my clients are, some are not!
Pro’s of using a physical planner -
☼ It’s get’s you away from screens
☼ You can get into the habit of looking at it certain times of day
☼ You don’t need signal to see it
☼ Very visual
☼ You can colour code - actually colour
☼ You will write more in it than you do an online calendar
☼ Could be used as a journal also
☼ You can have colouring pages - mindfulness activity
