Create a FB shop

HOW TO

“Take your SHOP onto other platforms”

So many people use a range of different platforms, & to get your SHOP seen by a wide audience you need to utilize these platforms. Facebook shop is a must for product-based businesses, & it’s easy to set up too.

1.     Go on your Fb business page

2. On the Manage Page section on the left hand side, click Manage Shop

3.     Click Start Shop Setup

4.     The next slide gives you some points that you need to have ready, in order for your shop to be posted on your page. Choose a checkout method, provide your business details and add your inventory.

5.     The next slide is Choose Your Checkout Method. I’d always recommend having a website linked, I think it’s a lot nicer to look through a website with different pages explaining who and what you are than just a FB page + it tells more of a brand story (which I LOVE).

6.     The next slide you need to connect your business account, so enter your email for this here.

7.     The next slide you create a catalogue. What is your brand name, or do you have different collections?

8.     Add items to your catalogue.

9. Photo size needed is at least 500x500 pixels. Make sure these photos are high quality and showcase your products clearly. SEO TIP- Before uploading make sure you rename your file with your brand name.

10.     Add a catchy title – Keep it short and sweet

11.     Description – Explain what it is, what it is made from, what size (if clothing) the model is wearing, a bit about your brand, etc

12.     Website link – Add the exact page link to that specific item, once a customer clicks through you want them to go directly to that item, not have to find their way to it again, because I guarantee you if they need to do this, they will never end up checking out!

13.     Once you have added each product, you end up in your Business Suite (because you have added a shop to your page, this is why you now have access to this feature), You may not have seen this section before – this your go-to place where to manage sales, design ads, look at your insights, etc for your whole business page.

*P.S. I highly recommend adding the 2 step verification, from somebody who has had major troubles with their security before, it’s one of the first things I ALWAYS set up now.
If there is a point I am missing on here or if you are struggling to find how to do anything, message me & I will tell you how & also add it to this How To so it can benefit others.
