Batch Content Creation

HOW TO, & WORKBOOKS

“Create ease within your life, save time, & grow a loyal, & loving community”

So many of you have absolutely incredible biz ideas, with amazing products & services on offer, BUT your Instagram (or any other platform you want to utilise, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok etc) is not portraying your brand in the right way, or in the way you envisioned, which overall means it’s not attracting your Dream Audience !!

Instagram specifically is the number 1 platform to grow your brand, & for your product or service to get shopped. But if you’re not showing up consistently, when your DA needs what you have to offer you won’t be at the forefront of their minds.

& It doesn’t matter if your product or service is the best out there - if you’re not showing up, you won’t get seen!

I want you to get seen, I want to see your brand grow, & start attracting a loyal, & loving community

  1. WHY & WHEN

WHY is batch creating so incredibly amazing?

▾ It prevents you from stressing about what to always post! You know when you sit down in the evening, & try & force yourself to post, bcus you know you need to, but you have no creative energy to actually do it, or not the foggiest on what to even talk about? - this is what it prevents ;)

When you spend 1, 2 or even 3 hours doing one thing you get into a creative flow, bcus your mind is concentrating on doing one thing. You start thinking of other content that relates to what you’ve just written, which means it connects together & it’s not all over the place & random.
*Another TIP regarding time is don’t ever spend more than 3 hours on one thing, it has been proven that 3 hours is the max amount of time we can be creatively charged in one go. So split your days up, & work steadily at a variety of diff things so you always give your all to all of them!

Know your brand is working for you in the background - no wasting time anymore! Spend time on making other moves within your brand, engaging (I highly recommend consistently doing this), learn something new….

Know your brand is attracting your Dream Audience. When you batch create content you know it’s all going to relate to your DA bcus it’s based around what your brand is made up of, no more creating posts for the sake of it with low engagement!
(if you’re very much at the beginning of your journey, you may not have your DA sussed out yet, & that’s fine, by batch creating content you will soon start seeing the types of ppl who are attracted to your brand, this will highlight who you may want to be helping)

WHEN to batch create content for?

▾ Before you go on charter
▾ Before you go on holiday, or go travelling
▾ Before your busy work schedule starts
▾ Before you move house, or you’re renovating
▾ Before you have a biz launch
etc…..

Not only is batch creating content good for you to do before events, lifestyle & work busy times, but also it may really suit you to do this on a monthly basis so it relives that pressure, & stress of always thinking what to write.

Being able to take things off your to-do list = LESS stress, MORE ease !

How many posts should you be doing per week?

2. HOW many posts should you be doing per week?

We want to align everything we do within our brands with our lifestyles, so we create that LIFE/work balance, not the other way around. How to start doing this is by looking at what your days are already filled with doing. A lot of the time you don’t realise how much time you’re wasting just scrolling Instagram (this is where comparisonitis comes from which you don’t want) or how much time you spend on the Tube, or how much time you spend faffing around cleaning the kitchen haha

▾ Start by outling what you do in your days, & fill in this workbook on ‘How To Feel Accomplished’
*If you don’t have a printer just write this down in a notebook.
P.S. If you did my Reels challenge you would have already done this step bcus like everything within our brands we want to align everything with our lifestyles, not force, or push. So you will already know how many posts you are doing for your brand per week.

Once you have done this you can see where your gaps are throughout your day, where you’re procrastinating, & where there is room to do more, or where batch creation comes in - do LESS!

I always recommend to everyone, if you’re at that stage in your brand where you want to start making money from it, this is the biz side, you need to be posting a minimum of 3x per week!

The more you show up, the more you’re going to be seen, the more you will GROW.
BUT…… this amount has to be realistic, & align with your lifestyle!

▾ Do you want to start making money within your biz?
If so, look at your day how many posts can you be doing per week that aligns with your lifestyle of 3 posts +?
If not yet, again look at your lifestyle, how many days a week can you be posting?

The reason i’m getting you to do this before we even get onto the batch creating content is bcus yes you’re life will be made easier by batch creating your content all at one time, but Instagram & any marketing platform you use is not just about posting, it’s more importantly about ENGAGING!

You need to fit engaging into your daily routine - & i recommend 20/30 mins of engagement after every post you do.

E.g. 3x posts per week is 90mins of engagement spread out over the 3 days.
2x per week is 60mins of engagement.

So with that said, how many posts can you do per week that aligns with your lifestyle?

What is your brand made up of?

3. What is your brand made up of?

A brand does not just talk about 1 thing, a brand does not just talk about the biz side which is your offering i.e. what your product or service is. Sooooooo many women get so caught up in this aspect, bcus they have ‘selling’ at the forefront of their minds, so all they end up talking about is what they sell!

When you build a brand ladies, people come to you!

A biz is what you sell, this is your product or service.
A brand is a made up of many things.

▾ Discover what the pillars of your brand are, & fill in this workbook on ‘Brand Pillars’
Please comment underneath my post in our Sisterhood Private Lounge what your answers are to the questions within this workbook. What I will do is individually go through all of your answers, & help you discover what your brand pillars are aligned to your specific brand. For those of you who have already defined what these are with me inside my 1-1 mentoring programme, this will be easy for you ;)

REMEMBER, your brand changes all the time so what may be your brand pillars now, a few months down the line these could slightly change & shift (especially if you’re working with me inside my 1-1 mentoring programme). This is okay, & this is normal, align everything within your brand with your new direction, or clarity.

Take your time with this, brainstorm ideas throughout the week, & think of what makes up your brand.
+ don’t forget to comment under my post in our Sisterhood Private Lounge with your realisations, & i will help you out!

Only when you have defined your pillars should you move on to this Phase.

Your pillars are what make up your brand. They help you break up your content (not only on Instagram but any other social media platform you use, & your website), & attract your Dream Audience through each individual pillar, this is why they need to be specific, they need to embody your brand, & they need to be different.

What I’m going to share with you now is how you break up your content so that you make sure you’re covering your brand as a whole, & not just concentrating on one thing. Most women concentrate on talking about what their Offering is (this is your product or service) rather than thinking what makes up their brand.

Remember you want 3-4 pillars, no more, or no less!

What you’re doing with the above is making sure that your content is always split up, & covers your brand as a whole.

& the reason you split up your content into Value & Personality posts is because when someone wants to buy or work with you, they need 2 things to do so. They need to know that you know what you’re talking about, that you have the experience or the knowledge to help them with a struggle of theirs (Value), they ALSO need to know that they like you, that you understand them (Personality).

VALUE posts - This is where you educate your DA, & share the knowledge you have surrounding your offering that relates to your brand.
An example - If your pillars are Abs, Smoothies & Morning Routine, a Value post underneath Abs might be, 1 way you can start toning your abs just by changing your walking technique, a Value post underneath Smoothies might be, my go-to smoothie on the weekend, a Value post underneath Morning Routine might be, Something you must start implementing into your morning every single day.

PERSONALITY posts - This is where you tell them a personal story about yourself that will help them, & that relates to your brand.
An example - Again if your pillars are the same as above, a Personality post underneath Abs might be, this is why I started changing up my ab routine, a Personality post underneath Smoothies might be, why I started drinking smoothies, a Personality post underneath Morning Routine might be, why I decided to flip my morning routine right over.

If you’re struggling to write content ideas underneath a specific pillar then you need to have another think if that pillar is an actual pillar of your brand.

Remember, you want your pillars to relate to your Dream Audience, they need to want help with it, + you need to be able to help them within it. It needs to be a balance of both of these things.

Everything you do within your brand needs to solve specific problems that your Dream Audience have, + YOU need to be able to help them, & share stories that relate to these problems.

Write out the above table in an A4 notebook, & start filling it in. Let me know in the comments under the post in our Sisterhood Private Lounge how you’re finding it, & if you have any questions at all, always ask away, I will help you as much as I can!

This is the last Phase of my training on batch content creation, & it’s the stage where you’re acyually going to learn the BEST ways to do this, so it creates ease within your life.

Add these things into your calendar first

Have a look at your year as a whole, what main things do you have going on within it?

Some examples, bcus sometimes it’s hard to think of these, or acknowledge that they actually take a lot of time up -
Holidays
Moving house
Charter trips/Carib season/Med season
Birthdays - this will help you not forget too! If you’re anything like me, i’m aweful at this
Having a baby - think about your diff trimesters, & when the baby is born
Events like festivals, weddings, workshops etc
Training days
Your kids school registration (this happened to me, & it took me approx 2 weeks of so much research, applying etc!!)
Toilet training your dog (for 6 months I took Dixie outside every 30 mins to toilet train him)
Launches - these take a lot of time, & energy
▾ 1-1 client calls/dates - again very energy draining, for example I can only do 1 client call per day bcus afterwards im exhausted
▾ Friends visiting/or your busiest month of this

It doesn’t have to be specific dates as such but you can start blocking out your most busiest times in your calendar (i recommend highlighting them in a specific colour, if you have a physical diary colour them in)

What this does is highlight when you’re your busiest, & these are the BEST times to batch content create for.

Batch content creation is also good to use on a daily basis within your brand, not only to do before your busiest times. It depends on what your lifestyle is like, & what would be easiest for you; batch creating content lessens your daily brand to-do list, it really does create so much more ease, & it relieves the fear of having to spontaneously post on the day.

Some great times to do this would be at the beginning of the month, or of the week. Again work out, & think what would be best for YOU, what would create more ease within your life?
Would you rather create all 12 of your posts (3x per week) on the 1st of the month?
Or would you rather pick one day per week, & batch create all your posts for the week ahead?

The key is to always stay CONSISTENT!
So what version of batch content creation are you going to do, that’s going to make sure you’re consistent?

What’s REALISTIC for you?

Once you’ve entered in all that you can think of with the above into your calendar, & you’ve decided how you’re going to batch
content create to create more ease for yourself

The next thing to do is to know how many times a week you’re going to be posting.
(If you did my Reel training last month you will already know this)
If you don’t know this, you didn’t do Phase 1 properly - go back to Phase 1 right at the top of this training & go to point 2, this is where you can figure out how many posts per week is realistic for you to align with your lifestyle.

Stay CONSISTENT with this amount you’ve chosen for yourself!
Put these days & times into your calendar

What to do with your content table

So you’ve filled out your content table, & split it up via the pillars of your brand, & Value & Personality posts.
What you want to do now is make sure that you’re posting a mix of all the columns, not just posting all within one column.

What this does is shows you as a BRAND, & it provides your customers/clients everything they need to trust you, & have no problem to therefore purchase from you.

How to make batch content creation easier

Here are some different ways, & platforms you can batch create content on-

▾ Planoly is a great scheduling app, & especially if you’re a visual person, as you may like to see what your Instagram looks like on a grid. They have a free option which enables you to connect 1 social account, & you can batch create up to 30 posts per month; & then the first paid option is €9ish per month for up to 60 uploads per month. If you want to schedule your posts to go out at a certain time, & day, with your #’s included…. WITHOUT you having to do anything I highly recommend paying for this bcus it saves you sooooo much time, stops your procrastinating, & keeps you CONSISTENT; imagine creating all your posts for 3 months at a time - WINNING!
Check it out HERE

Save them to your drafts - You can save up to 7 posts in your drafts, this would be good for those of you who don’t get on with the scheduling apps, & if you’re creating batch content for like 3x per week every week.

▾ Preview app is a great way to rearrange the visuals of your Insta feed. For example you know what posts you’re going to write about, you’ve picked images that represent these posts, now you wanna see what order to post them in in a visually pleasing way, Preview app let’s you play around with your images in an easy way. Once you’re happy with the visuals, start writing your posts for each individual one, & schedule them.

If you’re a spreadsheet gal (i’m defo not haha) then an Excel spreadsheet maybe fab for you, you can create tabs for your diff pillars, split it all up as you want, colour code etc. Obviously you need to physically copy & paste onto Instagram, but it’s a good way to see your images, & content in one place.

If you’re a visual person, then creating a grid on Canva could be a great way for you to visually see what the images you’re putting together look like on an Insta feed. Type in GRID into the search bar, & select one which has 3 along the top, you could then save your caption in your notes (don’t recommend bcus what if it accidentally gets deleted!!) or again in a spreadsheet, or if you’re a pen to paper person write them down in a notebook.
